The objective of the Alliance is to increase the volume and intensity of intermodal rail
freight transportation in the direction of China-Europe-China by making maximum
use of the transit opportunities of the participating countries and strengthening inter-
institutional coordination.
Within the framework of the Alliance, the state railways of Azerbaijan, Georgia,
Turkmenistan, Turkiye, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan implement a unified and
coordinated cargo transportation policy.
