The decision to establish a Coordinating Committee for the development of the International Multimodal Route “APR-China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Europe” was adopted at the meeting in Tashkent on December 20, 2019 with the participation of the heads of the railway departments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The coordinating committee for the route was created by the initiative of the meeting participants.
Chairmanship of the committee was assigned to Uzbekistan. The organization of transit container trains on the route Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia and in the opposite direction was entrusted to the following logistics companies:
On the territory of Azerbaijan – “ADY Container” LLC
On the territory of Georgia – “GR Logistics & Terminals”
On the territory of Kyrgyzstan – “Kyrgyz Railway”
On the territory of Turkmenistan – “Transport and logistics center of Turkmenistan”
On the territory of Uzbekistan – “Uzbekzheldorekspeditsiya
